This is a small, white Boer goat skin with a light orange stripe down the spine. The leather is thin, and it will make a nice, small mat. The hair is soft.
My goat hides mostly don’t lay perfectly flat, unless stated, so they may not be best used as a rug. They look good as a wall hanger or thrown over a chair or couch. This one really doesn’t lay flat.
Size: 87 x 65 cm Measured from rump to neck, and across the belly. Some sellers measure hides diagonally from leg to leg but I find that a little misleading and makes the skin look bigger.
- Chair throw
- Hide handbag, tote or pouch.
- Medieval mantle
Please note: this skin is tanned by me with hand tools, no power tools have been used. I don’t have the machinery that a tannery has, so my skins won’t be quite as soft or neat on the back.
