Rowans Fur, Hide, and Leather shop, Australia

Luxury fur, sheepskins, and hides. Micro tannery.

Steel Goblin is the hide, sheepskin, and other animal product, shop that you will come back to time and again. Hides and furs for medieval costumes and decor.

All ethically sourced – no skins I tan or import come from fur farms or are hunted for their skins. They are all byproducts from either food production or pest control. I never buy in exotic sheep or goat skins that are intensively farmed. Check out my ethics page for details on my where and why animal skins.

Zebra Hides

Who wouldn’t want a zebra hide for their floor, or to drape over their couch?

These hides come from legally harvested animals from the South African culling program which stops over population due to limited space and shrinking populations of predators. All proceeds from the hide sales goes back to conservation programs. NOTE: these hides are ordered as they are paid for and can take a month to arrive. 2.5 x 1.5m in size and cost $2200
